Originally a Redwood brainchild the event has to date seen over 5,600 intrepid runners scale the 932 steps.
The Vertical Rush tower running challenge has become a landmark event in the Capital’s calendar for many years now and is the biggest and best stair-run race in the UK.
Originally a Redwood brainchild, the event has to date seen over 8,000 intrepid runners scale the 932 steps to be rewarded with extraordinary panoramic views of London. It remains Shelter’s biggest fundraising challenge, having raised over £2million to help families facing homelessness.
Acting on behalf of Tower 42’s owner Kirsh Group, Redwood co-ordinates the annual event with Shelter, working with the management team to grow and promote the challenge each year. In addition Redwood supports Shelter’s media team, collectively achieving excellent press coverage before and after the event in (among others) The Daily Telegraph, London Evening Standard, City AM, Metro, Huffington Post, Men’s Health Online, FHM.com, EG and Property Week, as well as coverage on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio London and Smooth FM.
