Redwood coordinate month-long music campaign at Leeds Corn Exchange

4 January 2010

In the lead up to Christmas Redwood coordinated an exciting programme of music at Leeds Corn Exchange. The campaign was designed to support Redwood's role providing PR and Stakeholder Communications support to the recently restored Grade I listed building.

Redwood liaised with Leeds-based music consultants 'Lowering the Tone' to source musicians to perform free classical and jazz concerts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtime over five weeks. The Redwood team secured widespread local coverage which, supported by a sustained promotional campaign in the city centre, helped drive increased footfall as the programme progressed.

Owned by The Threadneedle Property Investment, Leeds Corn Exchange re-opened last year to champion the best of independent fashion, lifestyle and creative enterprises in Leeds.
