White River Place is Regeneration Scheme of the Year 2010

20 October 2010

Since opening a year ago, White River Place has transformed the Cornish town centre of St Austell, creating jobs and boosting the town's retail offer with new names including TK Maxx, New Look and Cornwall's first Frankie and Benny's restaurant -  on this basis, the centre seemed a strong contender for the Regeneration Scheme of the Year Award at the 2010 South West Business Insider Awards.

After putting together the award, Redwood was delighted to celebrate with the project team at a black-tie awards ceremony in Bristol's Marriott Hotel last night when White River Place came home with the trophy - a great end to a fantastic year for a project that has gone from strength to strength.
