Redwood has been providing comms support for Camden Council’s regeneration of two Council-owned sites in Camley Street near King’s Cross. These will deliver affordable housing as well as proposals for knowledge economy-related uses such as life-sciences elements, creating more than 250,000 sq ft of new Knowledge Quarter-led commercial space.
We held a number of workshops and meetings with Council officers and members, as well as local residents and businesses, to develop the narrative and place identity for Camley Street, to create an attractive proposition for a Development Partner. Alongside launching the regeneration opportunity to the development community, we secured a number of pieces of coverage to raise the profile of the development. The procurement process is progressing with a number of high quality bids, which the Council is now considering, and an announcement is due to be made at some stage in mid-late 2024.
