Leslie Jones taking off in Dubai

A central part Redwood’s strategy for Leslie Jones Architecture was to maximise the firm’s profile with an international audience.

With this in mind, the team were keen to maximise exposure both with UK and global audiences around Leslie Jones’ appointment by Dubai Airports to support the commercial design strategy for the future Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central (DWC).

A coordinated marketing and PR approach was devised by the team with exposure maximised by making the announcement at MIPIM. As a result, an exclusive interview was secured for Leslie Jones with the MIPIM News team, who broke the story on the first full day of MIPM. This was timed to coincide with distribution of Leslie Jones’ MIPIM newsletter announcing the appointment to clients and contacts.

Redwood also coordinated a face-to-face interview at Passenger Terminal Today conference, taking place the same week as MIPIM in Paris in order to target the transport sector simultaneously to the property press.

Following the MIPIM and Passenger Terminal Today announcements, the Redwood team proactively sold the appointment into UK and international press securing coverage on Bloomberg News and across several Middle Eastern, UK and international publications.
