Originally established as a contractor, McLaren built on its success and created its real estate development and investment arm in 2010. Redwood worked to raise the profile of the business corporately and by divisions, highlighting McLaren’s success to the market and reinforcing its impressive growth.
The crux of work focused on media relations activity, positioning McLaren as a serious player in the sectors it operated within. This included placing profile pieces in target media such as Building and press interviews with the company’s senior team and Chairman.
‘Hero’ construction projects across the UK were used to highlight particularly challenging or high profile instructions in target press and features were used to showcase impressive construction techniques. The newly-established property division was also profiled in the real estate press, marking it as a hungry new player and ‘one to watch’.
