Redwood was appointed by auctioneer Henry Butcher to manage the national and international public relations campaign for the high profile sale of the contents of the Millennium Dome.
The team worked closely with the client to respond rapidly to the huge media interest in the Millennium Dome and reacted to extremely tight deadlines imposed buy the government departments overseeing the sale. Redwood’s organisational skills enabled the team to secure targeted coverage that communicated our client’s key messages.
Redwood arranged media tours around the Dome, accompanying journalists and TV crews from across the globe. The team oversaw media interviews with our client from a wide range of national television and radio news programmes, newspapers and magazines from the UK and around the world, including a 10 minute feature on Channel 4’s ‘Big Breakfast’.
