Swansea Central

Redwood supported Swansea Council and development manager, Rivington Land (now RivingtonHark), in managing the consultation for the detailed planning application for phase one of Swansea Central.

The scheme will include a 3,500-person capacity digital indoor arena, run by ATG, a new costal parkland, multi-storey car park and new retail and residential units as well as provision for a hotel.

The consultation included detailed sessions with key stakeholders as well as a public exhibition, resulting in 77% of respondents reporting support for the proposals.

As part of the consultation, Redwood supported the Council in engaging with the next generation through interactive boards and presentations aimed specifically at school children.
