The Mall, Walthamstow

Redwood navigated a complex and challenging local context to support the submission of Capital & Regional’s retail, leisure and residential proposals for The Mall, Walthamstow, which achieved planning consent despite widespread local opposition.

The comprehensive year-long consultation involved two large public exhibitions, design workshops, youth engagement, a key stakeholder group meeting programme and much more besides. It involved thousands of local people and established the most positive local context possible for submission.

Redwood managed the communications around the project and worked both proactively and reactively with the local media.
