The £35m extension and redevelopment of Hammerson’s Elliott’s Field Retail Park in Rugby is underway, with Redwood providing ongoing communications support during construction. Hammerson’s planning application was approved last year, with the overwhelming support of local politicians and the wider local community, which was particularly evident during the pre-application process, led by Redwood.
The newly extended Elliott’s Field Retail Park will enhance the attractiveness of Rugby as a retail destination and encourage people to shop locally at a time of increasing competition from nearby towns and cities.
The 300,000 sq ft scheme includes a 60,000 sq ft Debenhams department store, a 50,000 sq ft Marks & Spencer general merchandise store and pre-lets have also been agreed with Next, TK Maxx, Outfit and Clarks.
