Ben is a communications and strategy specialist with extensive experience at the highest levels of Government. He worked on the Olympics from 2008-2012, spent two years after the Games working with major event hosts in Rio, Qatar and Tokyo and joined the LLDC in June 2014.
The London Legacy Development Corporation is a Mayoral Development Corporation and is directly accountable to Londoners through the Mayor of London.
The Park covers 560 acres, has 6.5km of waterways and 15 acres of woods, hedgerow and wildlife habitat. It is expected that there will be 15,000 jobs created on the Park by 2025 and by 2030 it will be home to more than 10,000 new households.
The Corporation is currently creating schemes including the ‘Olympicopolis’, a world class education and cultural district, while Pudding Mill, on the Greenway south of the Stadium, is set to be the Park’s most varied new community.
