Senior directors from major investors, developers, housebuilders and consultants attended Redwood Consulting’s latest roundtable, held today on the theme of planning and development in East London.
They heard from guest speaker John Biggs, Executive Mayor of Tower Hamlets, member of the London Legacy Development Corporation and London Assembly Member for City & East London.
John has a keen interest in regeneration and his priorities include maximising the post-Olympic legacy for East London, having previously been Vice Chair of the London Development Agency and Deputy Chairman of the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation.
With Tower Hamlets boasting some of London’s highest profile new mixed-use developments, being designated one of the London Housing Zones and set to benefit significantly from Crossrail, the lively, informative and engaging debate covered topics including planning legislation, development potential and infrastructure delivery.
