LandAid, the property industry charity, is delighted to announce the appointment of Redwood Consulting, the strategic communications consultancy, on a pro bono basis, to support its fundraising activity which harnesses the property industry’s expertise and goodwill to help disadvantaged young people.

Since 1986, LandAid have partnered with leading charities that support young, disadvantaged people in the UK. Using the support and expertise of some of the biggest names in property, the charity will invest a minimum of £1 million during 2011-2012 alone in organisations such asCentrepoint, Fairbridge and Llamau.

LandAid Chairman Robin Broadhurst, said: “To have an experienced company like Redwood on board will be an invaluable support to the important work we do here at LandAid. We are very pleased they will be helping us during what promises to be an exceptionally exciting period.”

Redwood Consulting will assist LandAid in launching a number of initiatives in 2011 and 2012, creating a comprehensive communications strategy with a focus on providing the charity with an effective awareness campaign.
