Redwood Consulting, the strategic communications, media and public affairs consultancy specialising in UK and international real estate and the built environment, has announced six new appointments and promoted a further three team members.

The firm’s market-leading public affairs team has been boosted by the appointment of Josh Owens as Senior Account Manager, Natasha Lee as Account Manager and Colm Munday as Account Executive.

Josh joins from previous roles at PPS Group and Remarkable Group’s Manchester offices. With a background in public affairs, community relations and crisis communications in the energy and strategic land sectors, he has worked on some of the largest projects in the North West, including Trafford Waters and the expansion of MediaCityUK. Josh has also worked for one of the UK’s fastest-growing retailers and some of its biggest housebuilders. He brings regional expertise and familiarity with the new landscape of devolution to Redwood Consulting’s growing public-affairs offering.

Natasha Lee, whose role covers both public affairs and PR, brings her extensive experience gained during five years at London Communications Agency of managing large-scale consultations on London-wide regeneration projects, from pre-application consultation through to construction communications and social media. Natasha also brings strategic media and profile-raising expertise having worked for established industry bodies and international conferences.

Colm brings wide-ranging public affairs experience gained during previous in-house comms roles in the charity sector. In his new role, Colm will be working on several public affairs projects across the UK, assisting the wider team with pre-application consultation and communications.

This latest round of appointments follows a number of promotions within the team. Sarah Walker has been promoted to Senior Account Manager, while Danielle Dove moves up to Account Manager and Isabel Stoddart to Senior Account Executive.

Lucy Close, Chief Executive, Redwood Consulting comments:

“We continue to invest in our world-class team and the expansion of our public-affairs arm further cements Redwood’s offer as a fully integrated and rounded communications consultancy.

“Seeking out and nurturing talent is a core part of our business’s ethos. It is fantastic to see members of the team take their careers to the next stage and to be able to support hard work through a number of well-deserved promotions.”
