We are pleased to announce that Redwood will be working closely with Chickenshed Theatre towards the launch of their new South London theatre project in Kensington and Chelsea – to be called ‘Chickenshed K & C’.
Chickenshed is an inclusive theatre company in which individuals from all backgrounds and of all abilities can work together to the common end of high quality performance in drama, music and dance. However it is also far more than that, Chickenshed also run children’s and youth theatre workshops, education courses, community outreach projects and a network of satellite ‘Sheds’ across the country – and even the world.
Now, 2011 sees the launch of a new project ‘Chickenshed K & C’, which will function as an independent group under the Chickenshed umbrella, and hopes to inspire the community in the Royal Borough through new children’s and youth theatre groups starting in September.
At Redwood we are delighted to be involved in such a worthwhile project and will be providing PR assistance in the lead up to September and generally volunteering our services in any way we can
