Over 200 nationally-significant retailers and experts gathered at Leeds Corn Exchange last night to discuss the future of fashion retailing at ‘The Business of Retail’ debate, which featured Mary Portas, Queen of Shops.

 

The debate was chaired by Eileen Connolly, head of the DTZ Retail Marketing (UK and EMEA) and also Chair of the BCSC Retail Marketing. The panel of experts featured Mary Portas; Simon Brown, MD of online retailer Joe Browns; Gerald Jennings, Land Securities’ Retail Portfolio Director for the North and Scotland; Jane Rexworthy, Head of National Skills Academy for Retail; and Tim Whitworth, Chief Executive of Republic.
