This is a fascinating time in the history of Transport for London (TfL), the world’s largest transport authority.  As well as helping millions of Londoners complete their daily commute, TfL is in the midst of ambitious plans to deliver thousands of new homes across the capital.  It will play an increasingly important role in helping London stay ahead of the competition, while meeting the unprecedented pressures of rapid population growth.

Redwood Consulting was therefore delighted to welcome Jamie O’Hara, TfL’s Chief Advisor, to our latest breakfast roundtable this morning.

Jamie used his unique insight to talk through the main challenges confronting TfL in the twenty first century and to describe its ongoing evolution as an organisation in order to meet them effectively.  Subsequent discussion covered a wide range of subjects, including TfL’s Property Partnerships initiative, the night tube, control of inner suburban rail services, Crossrail and Crossrail 2, and much else besides, during an engaging and entertaining session.

Redwood runs an ongoing programme of exclusive breakfast briefings for clients and contacts, with diverse figures from the worlds of property, politics and the media. To find out more please contact Jared Ingham at jared@redwoodconsulting.co.uk or on 020 7828 5553.
