This year, property industry charity LandAid celebrates its 150th year. The charity works to end youth homelessness in the UK, bringing the property industry together to support projects delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future. As a consultancy specialising in real estate and the built environment and good friends of LandAid, we wanted to do our bit and lend our support to their important work.

Each year, LandAid Day is property’s biggest day of fundraising, with the ‘Record Breaking’ the theme for 2017. Redwood therefore attempted to break a company record whilst raising money for LandAid, by holding a special edition of the Redwood Sports Club, in the aim of attracting the largest ever number of Redwood attendees. With a focus on fun and ‘school sports day’ themed activities, here’s the Redwood crew ready for action:

…and in the middle of a very competitive sack race:

We are pleased to say that we raised £282 for LandAid, and broke our own attendance record in the process. We look forward to our next challenge in 2018! If you can donate to what is undoubtedly a very worthy cause, then please do: it’s the generosity of donors and fundraisers that helps LandAid make a real difference.
