The full story

Tom has worked across Redwood’s corporate affairs and public relations accounts, in both press office and community consultation roles, for three years. He specialises in drafting thought leadership, and media content, focused on complex planning, legislative, and regulatory topics – and translating this issues into easily accessible language.Tom has worked with a listed property developer to deliver a circa 1,000 home redevelopment within Southern England, organised public events during the consultation programme for the third-tallest tower in the City of London, and helped deliver a media campaign to launch a development partner for the Central Winchester Regeneration opportunity. He currently works alongside some of our key investor clients, Schroders Capital Real Estate, the Universities Superannuation Scheme, & Greenlight (a logistics portfolio managed by Delancey), as well Workman LLP – the UK’s largest independent property management firm.

Tom graduated from Durham University in 2019 with a BA (Hons.) in Politics, and then from the University of St Andrews in 2020 with a Mlitt in Legal Studies. Before Redwood, he has a background in public policy communications on both sides of the Atlantic. Tom has a keen interest in housing delivery and sees it as one of the UK’s overarching political and social issues. Outside of work he’s a massive music fan and has recently set himself the challenge of listening to at least one new album every week in a bid to expand his horizons. He’s also a keen reader, film buff and enjoys other “boring stuff, like swimming”.
